How to Play Bucko

The lottery computer will randomly select three (3) sets of five (5) numbers between 1 and 41. There are 4 ways to win on Bucko:

  1. Single Line: Win by matching 3, 4 or 5 numbers on a single line.
  2. Combo: Win by matching 8 or more, 7, 6, 5, 4 or 0 numbers on a combination of all three lines or.
  3. Both Ways: Either win on a single line or on a combo win.
  4. Match No Numbers: If there are no numbers matched on all three lines you win a Free Bucko ticket.

The odds of winning the top prize are 1 in 749,398.

The prize in Bucko is 20,000 Canadian dollars. There are no rollovers or downs and all prizes remain static for this game!  Players have one year to claim any prize they may have won. After that, the money goes back into the prize pool or to a good cause decided by the government. All tickets are bearer instruments, meaning whoever presents the winning ticket can collect the prize.

The Atlantic Lottery is required to withhold taxes from any prizes over $5,000 according to the Federal Income Tax Act and the Canada Revenue Agency.
