The Sprinto draw is held every night at 22:30 local time when the latest results are announced, with ticket sales concluding and resuming quickly after. Along with daily draws, Quick Play is also available, providing players with two ways of winning.
You can take part in the Sprinto lottery online or at a retailer. There are two options for the ticket price: CAD 2 or CAD 5 for each selection. Either selection allows you to participate in both Quick Play and Daily Draw.
After buying a ticket, an on-screen simulation of either a horse or Formula 1 race is displayed, with the cars or horses bearing the 5 numbers on your ticket. These numbers range from 1 - 50. Only Quick Pick option is available.
Car or horse that wins the simulated race is displaying a prize. 4 of the 5 contestants display prizes while one displays the phrase "Good Luck". To win a prize during the daily draw, you should match all 2, 3, 4, or 5 Sprinto winning numbers.
Advance Play for future entries is not available in Sprinto since it includes an instant win component.
For an additional CAD 1.00 per play, you can add Extra to your ticket which issues a random seven-digit number on each ticket and gives a chance to win the CAD 1,000,000 jackpot.
The chances of winning the Sprinto draw jackpot are 1 in 2,118,760, while the odds of claiming the top instant prize are 1 in 706,253. There are four prize levels in the Sprinto draw game and seven distinct prize tiers in the instant win game (Quick Play). The chance of winning any reward is roughly 14 percent.
Below you will find the odds of winning in Quick Play:
The prize amount depends on the ticket price. Plus, there are 7 tiers of the Quick Play prize structure and 4 in the draw game. The maximum prize of an instant game is CAD 25,000 (for CAD 5.00 selection). Players can win up to CAD 100,000 for a single CAD 2.00 wager in a draw game; for a CAD 5.00 wager, they can win up to CAD 250,000.
The winner of the Sprinto prize has one year from the date that he or she submitted their entry to claim the money. Prizes are paid out as 100 percent tax-free lump sums.
To buy a Sprinto ticket, players must be at least 18 years old. Entry is allowed via the Loto Quebec website, mobile app, or from authorized lottery retailers throughout Quebec.
Between midnight and 5 a.m., game entries are not allowed on the website or in the app. Players elsewhere in Canada or from outside of the country will not be able to access Sprinto at this time.
Sprinto was introduced on May 7, 2012 by Loto Québec, a government-owned corporation.
Remember that for some people, playing the lottery can become an addiction. It's worth keeping in mind a crucial guideline in order not to get into debt. No matter how sure you are that you can win the lottery, it isn't worthwhile spending every last cent on a lottery ticket.
Plus, you can't wager a significant amount of money. Do not forget that the lottery is simply a game, not an investment opportunity. You should not spend huge sums of cash on lottery tickets.
One key lesson may be learned by studying the habits of the winners. To avoid losing more than you can afford, make a timetable for how long you'll participate in lotteries and stick to it. It should never be exceeded.
