LOS ANGELES – FUEL TV (http://www.fuel.tv) brings back the acclaimed original docu-series “The Moto: Inside The Outdoors” for a fourth season, premiering Saturday, Sept. 29 (8:00 PM ET). In this FUEL TV original production, award-winning motocross producer Troy Adamitis takes viewers on an exciting, dramatic and action-packed adventure, examining one of the most grueling professional race circuits in the world – the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship – and the racers who risk all competing on it. After its Saturday premiere, the show moves to its regular time slot on Mondays (11:30 PM ET) on Oct. 1.
“Live motocross races delivered exceptional ratings for FUEL TV throughout the summer,” says George Greenberg, FUEL TV Executive Vice President and General Manager. “In fact, the race on June 9 was the second-most watched program ever on FUEL TV, so we know motocross programming resonates extremely well with our viewers. ’The Moto’ offers fans an unprecedented insider’s look at the athletes and circuit in a way that isn’t captured anywhere else on television. We’re excited to bring back this tent-pole series to FUEL TV.”
“We’re thrilled to be doing another season of ‘The Moto’ for FUEL TV,” says “The Moto: Inside The Outdoors” Producer Adamitis. “We’re looking at the summer race series in a different way this year, dedicating episodes to specific riders like Davi Millsaps, Nico Izzi, Tommy Hahn and the series contenders such as Ryan Dungey, Mike Alessi, Blake Baggett and Justin Barcia. Their stories are incredible and inspiring and we love documenting their lives for the world to see.”
In each 30-minute episode of the six-part series, “The Moto: Inside The Outdoors” offers fans an inside look at some of the best riders from across the U.S. and around the world throughout the summer races. Because the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship has no judges, no time-outs, and no second chances, every event is raced like it’s the last a racer might be in. At each drop of the gate every rider, from seasoned veterans to eager rookies, has an equal chance at glory. But with the chance for success comes the risk of making a mistake that could not only end their season, but also their career. Succeeding requires a dedication that few sports ever see. Motocross is more than a game – everything can come to a thunderous conclusion in the blink of an eye.
The season-four premiere of “The Moto: Inside The Outdoors” is on Saturday, September 29 (8:00 PM ET), then moves to its regular time slot on Monday, October 1 (11:30 PM ET).
